SNEWS® Live: Since 1989, the Conservation Alliance has worked diligently to protect the wild and natural places of North America. The Alliance recently introduced a plan to ensure that work continues well into the future and beyond.
The Legacy Fund aims to raise a $3.5 million endowment by the summer of 2009. Coinciding with its 20th anniversary, the Conservation Alliance aspires the Legacy Fund to become an enduring testament to the protection of the environmental resources that make the business of outdoor recreation possible.
SNEWS® Live was at the biannual Conservation Alliance breakfast meeting at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. We connected with a number of those involved in the Legacy Fund campaign to learn more and bring you this story.
