The Outdoor Industry Association has elected a new board member and re-elected two others.
Scott Buelter, CEO of Ascent360, will join the board of directors at an upcoming meeting before Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.

Mike Joyce, president and CEO of PrimaLoft, and Mark Satkiewicz, general manager of TOMS and former CEO of Smartwool, will both remain on the board.
The board of directors is responsible for providing guidance for OIA’s strategic direction, establishing the organization’s position and policies on important issues facing the industry, and monitoring OIA’s financial health and performance.

“The OIA board plays a significant role in helping to guide and shape our focused work in policy, sustainability and outdoor participation on behalf of our members,” OIA Executive Director Amy Roberts said in a press release. “We are looking forward to the incoming directors; we also want to thank and acknowledge all of the hard work, effort and energy that our outgoing board member, Jim Zwiers, executive vice president of Wolverine World Wide, has given to OIA.”
