Channel Islands National Park—dubbed “The Galapagos of North America”—is found just miles off the shore’s of southern California and Channel Islands Adventure Company is the sole kayaking concessionaire for Santa Cruz Island. Guests kayak through some of the largest sea caves in the world, snorkel in kelp beds and crystalline waters, and hike to breathtaking vistas.

For more than eight years, our team has been leading kayak tours through the islands’ magnificent sea caves for tens of thousands of visitors. Our mission is to connect our guests with nature and inspire conservation of our outdoor spaces. Adventure Company has been family-owned and operated since I founded it in 1998. I come from a strong background in river running, expedition sea kayaking, and environmental education. I have surrounded myself with a group of like-minded passionate, adventurous, and eco-conscious staff. Our kayak guides are some of the best outdoors men and women in the business, coming from a variety of leadership backgrounds.

We have a deep love of the islands and fill all trips with insights into many island topics, from the delicate balance of marine ecosystems to the history of human in habitation of the islands. Santa Cruz Island is renowned for incredible island kayaking, native wildlife, fantastic snorkeling, and hiking opportunities. With our knowledgeable guides, limitless discovery awaits.
