Yes, that headline is completely accurate for all you eye-rolling SNEWS® subscribers. Kristin Hostetter, the gear editor for our sister publication, Backpacker, will be appearing on Martha Stewart on Monday, Dec. 20, at 10 a.m. EST – the Hallmark Channel.
Hostetter is going to be discussing the latest in warm winter wear with the doyenne of domestic. Can it be that a hardened outdoorswoman will actually be giving dressing tips to a woman whose idea of a successful outdoor event appears to include matching outfits for all the guests along with matching homemade decorations, napkins, tablecloths and doilies?
“Martha and I will be chatting about layering and I’ll be showing her some clothes that will keep her warm in any weather,” said Hostetter. “How psyched am I to hang with the domestic diva? Very!”
This, we just have to see. If you can’t watch it live, be sure to set your DVR. Consider that Hostetter will be going on just after Ramdane Touhami from the classic French candle company Cire Trudon. Touhami will elucidate Stewart’s viewers on the finer art of making holiday candles burn brighter.
Our money is on Hostetter to steal the show. But what brands will she try to impress Stewart with? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
