I’m excited to introduce our full line of HART Outdoor first aid kits to the outdoor industry. These new kits provide superior in-the-field performance and ease of use to better serve outdoor enthusiasts when they respond to first aid emergencies.
As the pioneers of the REI brand first aid kits, we have more than 40 years’ experience producing the highest quality first aid kits on the market. By leveraging that experience, and adding a few improvements like better organization, clear labeling on every component, and enhanced quality, we’re confident that our new generation of HART Outdoor First Aid Kits are going to become your new go-to kit.
We understand the rigors of outdoor activity require a much higher standard of performance when it comes to delivering first aid in the field. That’s why we have strict specifications for all of our components—our bandages stick better, our gauze is thicker, our ointments and medications have superior formulations and each packet has essential drug facts. First Aid information is available in a handy and complete first aid manual that Outdoor Gear Lab called “an invaluable tool for assessing…and treating wilderness emergencies.” In addition, each kit is hand packaged by our staff here in Seattle, Washington. Available in four sizes (Extended, Multiday, Weekend, and Day Hike) each kit is designed to match the length of the outing, number in the party, and intensity of activity. Refills of frequently-used components are available on our website.
Introduced this spring at REI, the HART Outdoor brand is now available online and will be available to ship to all retailers at the start of 2019, in the first quarter. We welcome inquiries and look forward to working with the outdoor community of retailers.
