At OtterBox, we have always believed that the outdoors belong to everyone. As a brand, it isn’t our job to define the outdoor experience, we just have the privilege of enabling it.
OtterBox began like many start-ups – built on a dream, created out of my garage in the mid-90’s in Fort Collins, Colorado. We started with a simple box, a rugged drybox to be exact.
Fast forward to 2017, you most likely know our brand for our incredibly durable smartphone cases. Now we are taking years of experience in design, prototyping and injection molded manufacturing and design to build the cooler of your dreams.
The new Venture line of premium, rugged coolers uses superior cooling technology and can hold ice for up to 14 days. They have been drop tested for durability on every side and edge, empty and full, and are certified bear-resistant.
And, the Venture is customizable. Venture’s subtle and sturdy mounting system lets you attach accessories to the exterior mounting points and integrated rails so you can build the cooler that works for you. There’s a cutting board, dry storage tray, separators to help organize and maximize the internal space, a side table, cup holders and drybox clips, and that’s just the beginning.
We’re very proud that Venture is not only designed in the U.S., but also manufactured here too. Working with an auto manufacturer in Detroit, we’ve created an advanced process that means our coolers are consistently durable with superior cooling capabilities and true to size – each has exactly the number of internal quarts we claim it does – 25, 45 and 65.
