Bill Sweeney, the former Reebok vice president of sales who has spent the last two years as CEO of the Jordan Formula 1 Motor Racing brand, has been named the president of Ellesse. Ellesse is owned by Pentland, a UK-based international brand management company that also owns Speedo, Kickers, Berghaus, and Red or Dead. Pentland also holds the worldwide license for Lacoste footwear.
