Columbia Sportswear has negotiated a settlement with Jong Jae Kim of Korea over his selling of apparel carrying a “Columbia Classic” trademark. Following a Korean civil court injunction prohibiting his use of the trademark, Kim agreed to publish ads in leading Korean newspapers explaining the settlement and the transfer of rights to the Columbia Classic trademark to Columbia Sportswear.
