Did you hear?… Crooke finds Revolution after Patagonia

Michael Crooke, who resigned recently as CEO of Patagonia, has been hired by AOL founder Steve Case to be the CEO of Revolution Living (www.revolution.com), a subsidiary of Revolution LLC, founded by Case in April 2005.

Michael Crooke, who resigned recently as CEO of Patagonia, has been hired by AOL founder Steve Case to be the CEO of Revolution Living (www.revolution.com), a subsidiary of Revolution LLC, founded by Case in April 2005.

Crooke, 48, was the CEO of Pearl Izumi prior to becoming only the second CEO at Patagonia. Before Pearl Izumi, he was managing director of Kelty.

Revolution Living is privately held and, according to a company statement, “invests in businesses that promote more balanced and sustainable lifestyles.” Revolution’s holdings include Flexcar, a car-sharing service; Miraval: Life in Balance, a resort in Tuscon; a minority share in Gaiam, a yoga, pilates and healthy living products company; and Lime, a media company.
