Did you hear?… Florida's Gyms to Go buys Georgia's Just for Fitness

Busy Body/Gyms to Go, based in Florida and owned by Carlos Vazquez and Jon Larkin, have finalized the purchase of Just For Fitness in Savannah, Ga. “It was more cost effective for us to buy them versus signing our own lease,” said Vazquez, who added that his company had pulled away from a lease because the space wasn’t going to be available as early as he wanted. That puts Gyms To Go (www.gymstogo.com) at 17 locations in Florida and Georgia, but three more are on the horizon, he promised. One of those 17 came from the merging with Gyms to Go of Orlando’s Affordable Fitness, which became a Gyms to Go in central Orlando in late 2005.
