Did you hear?… Gert Boyle spotted signing posters at Galyan's in SLC

Our spies in Salt Lake noticed none other than Gert Boyle, the spirited matriarch and chairwoman of the board of Columbia Sportswear Company signing posters at Galyan’s in Salt Lake City around 5 PM on Feb. 9. The unflappable and wildly popular “Mother Boyle” was holding court as part of an Olympic promotion and to show her support for the Winter Games. Columbia’s support is very evident to anyone watching or visiting the Winter Games. Columbia has outfitted the on-air talent, production crews and VIP corporate guests for NBC Sports, 500 Red Cross volunteers; and the staff and volunteers of the interactive exhibition, Discover Navajo: People of the Fourth World and its companion venue, the inter-tribal Festival of Nations. Moreover, many international teams are also sporting team outfits from Columbia.
