Gore-Tex goes leather and motor bikes — at least in Europe where many scoot around on zippy little motorized bikes as the best way to commute or get around in European towns. In Spring 2002, W.L. Gore & Associates will introduce a new grip system called ExactGrip after last year’s introduction of the first laminated leather by Gore for motorbike riders. The new grip system is made to give a rider the lightweight feel needed to feel the handles and shift, and to eliminate the shifting of the lining in other gloves. The technology will launch in the brands Dane, Hein Gericke, Held, IXS, Kushitani, and Polo.
