Did you hear?… Hats off to Team Salomon

Hats off to Team Salomon for its efforts at the Salt Lake Winter Olympics. One of our reporters on the scene for the entire two weeks told us the following: “Salomon had a hospitality house in Park City, and a constant parade of athletes through, as well as a great on-the-ground staff who handed photo-sized skis to skiers for their post finish photos. Multiple Olympic gold medal winner, Janica Kostelic, was even seen holding some tiny Salomon’s and saying proudly, ‘These are my photo skis.’ Overall, the games were a blast, and Salomon far and away had the greatest brand presence – -and plan.” SNEWS® View: Let the post-show PR wagons grind into full gear as companies attempt to turn medals for athletes into product sales and hard cash for end of year reports. By all accounts, Salomon has a leg up on the competition simply because of its well-executed game plan.
