Moonstone Mountain Equipment, a division of Pacific Trail, a wholly owned subsidiary of London Fog, announced Oct. 22, that Hoby Douglass has been named vice president of sales. This announcement seals the deal that Bob Schoonmaker, the acting vice president, will depart the company, though likely not before January 2002. Douglass leaves his most recent position as an independent rep in the Pacific Northwest territory for Deuter Packs and Crescent Moon Snowshoes. Prior to his stint as a rep in the outdoor industry, Douglass wore sales and management hats for a variety of companies including IBM, Precor, and Vectra Fitness.
