ICG Commerce, a vendor specializing in analyzing and coordinating company shipping needs, announced on October 8 that by using its RapidSource Transportation Program, REI managed to save 9 percent on its annual Less Than Truckload shipping costs. According to the release, REI managed more than 17,000 annual LTL shipments between its 60 retail stores and its distribution center.
