Did you hear?… Kim Reynolds forms Mind Over Mountains

Kim Reynolds, an outdoor educator and adventurer, has formed a new company, Mind Over Mountains, which will offer women-only adventure retreats. In the heart of the San Juan Mountains in Colorado, the adventure retreats will combine outdoor recreation, intellectual discussions and luxurious pampering for women of all ages. Employing the skills and expertise of professional women with backgrounds in health and medicine, sports psychology, outdoor education and other disciplines, Mind Over Mountains seeks to help women discover their physical strengths, innate wisdom and authentic self. Reynolds is known for her ethic of wanting to give back: Through her outdoor programs, she raises money for local, national and international women’s groups, and encourages outdoor educators and enthusiasts to give back to the communities that inspire them. In keeping with that tradition, Mind Over Mountains will donate a percentage of its profits to organizations affiliated with The dZi Foundation, a charitable organization Reynolds and her husband, Jim Nowak, founded that supports girls at risk.
