Koch Industries, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas, -- www.kochind.com -- has purchased the 50-percent stake in KoSa owned by Mexican-based IMASAB S.A. and, in the process, becomes the sole owner of the company.

Koch Industries, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas, — www.kochind.com — has purchased the 50-percent stake in KoSa owned by Mexican-based IMASAB S.A. and, in the process, becomes the sole owner of the company. IMASAB had been Koch’s equal investment partner in KoSa until the buyout. Other than an ownership modification, all things remain the same for KoSa. KoSa’s global headquarters will remain in Houston, Texas; and regional headquarters will stay in Charlotte, North Carolina; Frankfurt, Germany; and Mexico. KoSa produces commodity and specialty polyester fibers, polymers, and intermediates and employs approximately 8,000 people worldwide.
