Mark Hammersley, former CEO of Lowe Alpine, has been appointed to the newly created position as CEO of Zoggs Ltd, the holding company for the Zoggs Group, according to the British industry trade newsletter, Outdoor i. The Group consists of Goggles Inc, based in Hong Kong, Zoggs (Europe) Ltd (UK based) and Leisure Brands Ply Ltd in Australia. Most recently Hammersley was CEO of the Active Sportswear division at William Baird Plc. He was also president of Speedo International for five years from 1993 to 1998. Hammersley told Outdoor I, “I am delighted to be joining the Zoggs group at such an exciting point in its development after the excellent work that has been done in recent years. Both the Zoggs and Polyotter brands have real quality and potential for international growth.
