Did you hear?… Matt Lyon purchases the assets of Hydrapak, Inc.

Former Marin Mountain Bikes president Matt Lyon has purchased the assets of Hydrapak, Inc., from Bell Sports. Bell separated Hydrapak from the Blackburn label last year. The first product line under the new management will be at retail in Spring 2002, and Lyon has already established a sales network of 30 sales representatives throughout the United States. The company is currently shipping remaining 2001 inventory, and will begin shipping its newly introduced product line in January. Hydrapak, will be headquartered in Berkeley.
