Speaking of Montrail, the booth was luckily positioned right next to an exit. Anti-smoking crusader and company CEO Menno van Wyk spent the trade show time in a mini- and unspoken battle with the booth next door. He’d open the door to try to keep from sucking in all the smoke in the halls (remember, this is Europe, and it was nearly impossible to escape wafting clouds of nicotine) and the booth next door would close it. Heck, he even found a web site before his departure that listed smoke-free restaurants in Europe. Unfortunately, there weren’t many listings. Vegetarian German food anyone?
