Metolius reported today that sales of the company’s bouldering-specific product line have grown 400 percent over the last four years. That success, coupled with the continued growth of bouldering participation numbers have prompted Metolius to expand its bouldering line to include a full range of crash pads, climbing chalk, chalk bags, climbing tape and something it calls the Bouldering Bag Bucket — a pad accessory that included an eighth-pound of chalk and a cleaning brush. Sales of training products are experiencing strong growth for Metolius as well, with training board sale growing at a 50-percent rate annually.
