Did you hear?… Mike Kord joins staff of Canoe & Kayak Magazine

Mike Kord has joined the staff of Canoe & Kayak Magazine as associate editor. His career includes experience in both writing and editing. Prior to joining C&K, he was a section producer for MSNBC.com during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. He has also been an editor and staff writer for Seattle-based Varsity Communications and Sports Etc. magazine, respectively. He was a freelance writer for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer from 1996 to 1999, and has written for the Dallas Morning News and Houston Chronicle. He’s a skier, hiker, and climber, and has recently taken up paddling.
