Did you hear?… Outdoor Retailer hires Peter Devin and Karen Zekan

Reversing a rather disturbing trend of departing employees with no replacements in sight, Outdoor Retailer has announced the hiring of two. Peter Devin replaces departed Dieter Tremp as show director for Outdoor Retailer Summer and Winter Markets and Fly-Fishing Retailer. Devin comes to VNU with strong experience at Nordstrom and Ralph Lauren. Joining the magazine is new hire Karen Zekan who assumes the title of contributing editor with her most recent experience being four years at the Las Vegas Sun as a police reporter and features writer. At the same time Outdoor Retailer says goodbye to another one: Southeastern ad rep Daisy LeDuc is gone following the elimination of her staff position due to company restructuring.
