There’s those famous 10 minutes of fame you’ll get some day and, if you’re really lucky, you may even get 20 minutes of it. Ramsey Outdoors in Paramus, New Jersey, gets a second 10, as in minutes, as HBO re-runs the second season of its hit show, “The Sopranos.” In one of the second-season segments, a card-playing sporting goods store owner (“Hey, I own Ramsey Sporting Goods,” he says at one point) gets in a bit over his head in the Soprano run “executive” card game. Tony Soprano visits him at the store to do a little debt-collecting. Ramsey Outdoors was used for all the sporting goods store scenes and got more than a little notoriety and press during the filming. The best line of the show comes after Tony Soprano tells the owner of Ramsey Sporting Goods, “The executive game is too rich for you.” To which he replies, “Do you know how many jock straps I sold this week?”
