Rip Curl has opened a new store in Chamonix, the renowned ski resort in southern France. It will put an emphasis on trend and fashion in its mountain and surf collections sold there. The 2,700-square-foot two-level store, which opened Nov. 10, is almost directly opposite a Helly Hansen store. The company plans another opening soon in Paris, in the Montparnasse area.
