Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the “Seeding the Future” breakfast at Summer Market, this year the morning of Aug. 8 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Marriott Downtown Ballroom. The breakfast will once again benefit outdoor youth programs, and the keynote speaker will be Elliott Boston III, who was part of the first African-American team whose goal is to climb the “Seven Summits.” He will speak about “The Untapped Minority Market.” Seats are $100 each or $900 per table of 10 seats. Money raised will go to the Applachian Mountain Club, city WILD, Teton Science School, and the Women’s Wilderness Institute. Presenting sponsors are Outdoor Retailer, Lowa, and title sponsors are Nike ACG, Gore-Tex, with supporting sponsors of Leki USA and Galyan’s.
