Silva has entered into a marketing and distribution agreement with Maptech Inc., a digital mapping software company based in Amesbury, Mass. The Silva Terrain Navigator will feature official USGS topographic maps on CD-ROM, and will be sold by states. Smaller states are gathered into two regions: New England (ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT) and Mid-Atlantic (NJ, MD, DE, DC.) The Silva-branded product will retail for $99.95.
