Did you hear?… Spyder to open an office in Bangkok, Thailand

Spyder Active Sports, Inc., announced the opening of an office in Bangkok, Thailand. The ski outerwear company based in Boulder, Colorado uses domestic and overseas production facilities. The Thai office will facilitate the company’s Asian manufacturing operations for development, sourcing initiatives, quality assurance, logistics, and delivery. The office will also oversee and monitor Spyder’s Code of Conduct about the factory’s labor and manufacturing practices. Chris Okazaki will head the office as Spyder’s director of Asian production. Founded in 1978, Spyder produces high performance ski and sportswear, and is an Official Supplier of the 2002 US Olympic Alpine Ski Team. The company sells products in the United States and Canada and through independent distributors in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America, China, Korea, and Japan.
