Did you hear?… Sympatex to introduce two new weatherproofing applications at OR

Sympatex will introduce two new weatherproofing applications at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer show. One of the new applications, Sympatex Reflexion, is a waterproof, windproof, and breathable system. In tests, the lightweight laminate has a smooth aluminum surface that is said to reflect 75 percent of the body’s infrared heat back to the body. Sympatex Reflexion can be used as an insert or direct laminate and is intended for outerwear and footwear use. The other new product, Sympatex HigH2Out is a hydrophilic system that grabs perspiration, spreads it out and moves it to the outside to evaporate. In tests, it’s proved to be 120 percent faster than a standard laminate. Sympatex HigH2Out can be used as a 2- or 3-layer laminate and is intended for outerwear use.
