Did you hear?… TAPS explores possible allignment with OIA or PPA

The Trade Association of Paddlesports (TAPS) is exploring a possible alignment of the group with either the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) or the Professional Paddlesports Association (PPA). According to TAPS director Chris Mitchell, “We need to associate TAPS with either group to promote a strong voice for paddlesports.” The subject of such a union was discussed at the TAPS annual membership meeting held during the West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium in September. The TAPS board of directors will continue discussions with OIA and PPA and hopes to offer an option for the membership to vote on in the near future.
