Team Salomon/Eco-Internet, the elite adventure racing team that has won virtually every major race around the world for several years, will race under a new name for 2002 — Team GoLite. Ian Adamson, the team’s captain, commented that the team sought out GoLite to be its sponsor because, “GoLite offers the very best high performance products for those wanting to go fast and light, an essential element in the sport of adventure racing.” While the sponsorship contract is for one year, the relationship could be extended, GoLite said.
