Did you hear?… Timberland awarded the Plus Award for Excellence in Design

Footwear Plus magazine awarded Timberland the Plus Award for Excellence in Design for 2001 in the Outdoor category. Merrell, High-Tec, Teva, and Dunham were also nominated in this category. A Timberland representative told SNEWS®, “We are excited to be recognized for our outdoor heritage, and we are committed to building product that delivers on performance and casual versatility. This is an important recognition for Timberland as the outdoor lifestyle becomes more accessible and appealing to a broader range of consumers. We are especially pleased because these awards are nominated and voted on by retailers nationwide.” Timberland also received nominations in the Best Women’s Casual and Best Men’s Casual categories.
