In more wedding news, long-time outdoor industry veterans, Sandy Sincek and Geoff O’Keefe were married Sunday Sept. 2 at their home in the mountains high above Boulder. They were joined by a luminous gathering of 70 or so cohorts from their various past incarnations at Lowe Alpine, PlanetOutdoors.com, Patagonia, A-16, Black Ice and Granite Stairway as well as friends from their civilian lives and family members from a dozen states. True to the spirit of the sentiment that espouses “the second time around, it’s all about the party, baby,” the assembled revelers were treated to a beautiful, sunny Front Range day with just the right sprinkle of rain to be good luck in Hawaii, as well as a gourmet spread, renewal of friendships and two bands that left a few folks’ feet bruised from barefoot dancing well into the next day. At last report, Sandy and Geoff were honeymooning in the romantic offices of Lowe Alpine in Broomfield, Col. — click here to see photo.
