Ride the elevator with Jordan Basile, founder of Deso Supply Co.
Designed in the Sierra Nevada and manufactured in California, Deso Supply Co. is a clothing brand I founded in 2016. I grew up skiing, recreating, and being inspired by the Lake Tahoe area. Deso combines the frustrations of a generation that demands authenticity and finds resolve by creating strong apparel collections with a central focus on nature, travel, and function-driven wearability.
Our collection consists of hoodies, pullovers, and baselayers, including our best-selling Tallac Pullover. Described as “feeling like a group hug,” it features high-pile, anti-pilling Sherpa fleece, a high cowl neck, and thumbholes. We believe in slow fashion, sourcing local materials, and designing with intention. Bulk garment manufacturing can often overlook quality in an effort to produce large-scale quantities in a timely manner. Too many overseas factories have awful working conditions and unlivable wages.
We opted for domestic manufacturing in order to oversee the product development life cycle and develop a genuine relationship with the humans producing our garments. The quality of our garments comes from experienced sewers who are paid a livable wage and work in healthy conditions right in the heart of San Francisco. We source materials from the most reliable high-end manufacturers, whose values and standards align with ours. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and direct our focus towards creating unique garments in small enough quantities that you will seldom, if ever, find another person wearing the same piece as you. Deso also has a custom hat program that has enabled us to design for some of favorite companies, like Sierra at Tahoe Resort and Equator Coffee. We’re here to get you #wayoutthere in style.
