Our new Sealskinz Soft Touch socks combine a bamboo liner and Schoeller hydrophobic fabrics outer with the most waterproof and breathable sock membrane on the market.
Our proprietary Sealskinz hydrophilic membrane has historically been known for keeping your feet warm and dry in cold and wet conditions, but by bringing the membrane closer to the skin than ever before and applying a hydrophobic shell material, our new socks also do a fantastic job of keeping your feet cool in warm conditions. Osmosis moves warm sweat molecules away from your foot and through the membrane, keeping your foot both cool and dry and eliminating soft spots and blistering.
The membrane is also impervious to sand from the outside, which is one reason why Sealskinz was recently awarded a second four-year contract to supply the UK military’s troops in the middle east. We do not take the performance of this membrane lightly.
