Years ago, SOLE began a journey down a new sustainable path, committing ourselves to providing quality orthopedic products without sacrificing the environment. The vision—to pioneer a closed-loop manufacturing process by reusing natural wine corks, a sustainable and renewable resource that has been underutilized in the past.
Our brand-new Beach Flip, a collection of modern, affordable sandals that are made with 100-percent recycled wine corks boast a comfortable, orthopedic fit that wear mold to your feet and improve foot health, balance, posture, and stability, while reducing strain and preventing injury on vulnerable parts of the foot. The natural corks are collected by our partner, ReCORK, which is North America’s largest cork recycling program to date. With a network of thousands of partners, the ReCORK program has planted more than 8,000 cork oak trees and collected over 75 million wine corks, reducing its carbon footprint beyond carbon neutral into carbon negative.
Our Beach Flips are designed with our signature supportive shape and include a metatarsal pad for an added level of forefoot support and increased toe circulation, a deep heel cup that prevents over-pronation and a sturdy, yet supportive arch that prevents successive arch strain. With bright seasonal colors, lightweight and versatile style and our lowest price point for orthopedic footwear yet at $60, these sandals launch a new era in footwear innovation.
