GearTrends hires Feary as western sales account manager
The GearTrends Network proudly announces the hiring of Elizabeth Feary as its new western sales account manager. Feary will handle sales and account service for California, Oregon and Washington, as well as a few select accounts in Colorado.

The GearTrends® Network proudly announces the hiring of Elizabeth Feary as its new western sales account manager. Feary will handle sales and account service for California, Oregon and Washington, as well as a few select accounts in Colorado.
The growing GearTrends team is excited to have someone of Feary’s talent come aboard. Feary has knowledge and experience in both the outdoor and fitness industries — a huge plus for the GearTrends/SNEWS® melding of news and products from the two.
“She understands how business-to-business and consumer media can fit together and how they can work together for our GearTrends customers,” said Gene Treacy, GearTrends sales director. “Her experience with The Rocky Mountain Sports Network and as a salesperson for health club programs gives her an ideal foundation from which she can hit the ground running in both markets we serve. She’ll be able to understand our customers’ needs from the start and fit them into our program.”
This move will also allow GearTrends to concentrate its account service efforts regionally. Feary will work with western accounts, while Daisy Leduc will now become eastern account manager to serve accounts in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Canada. Treacy will handle the Central and Mountain states. This organization will allow GearTrends to reach and communicate in a more focused and individualized manner with customers and potential customers regionally.
