Horizon sets record November, expects more of same

Coming back from a frustrating product shipment delay after the dockworkers’ labor issues, Horizon Fitness is one company that is kicking to the year’s finish, President Bob Whip tells SNEWS. He said the company had a record November, and “we’re well on our way to a record December,” he said. Horizon has experienced strong reorders and sell-throughs, plus consistent stock and inventory. January may slow a bit only because Whip said that some retailers are bringing more in before the end of the year to be well laden before they stop for inventory in January.

SNEWS View: We think being a slightly lower-priced equipment company hasn’t hurt Horizon this season with the economic concerns.
