Getting in shape can also help children with life-threatening illnesses make their wishes come true. Make-A-Wish Foundation of America (www.wish.org) and Logan, Utah-based, fitness equipment manufacturer Icon Health & Fitness have teamed up to present a Make-A-Wish World Wide Workout, which will be sponsored by Icon’s interactive website, iFIT.com. People can go to the website and signup, then get sponsors, raise money and workout. Sponsorships are $25 to $1,000, and 100 percent of sponsorships goes to Make-A-Wish. “Not only do participants have the opportunity to help themselves by getting in shape, they have the opportunity to help us grant wishes to children,” said Paula Van Ness, president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
