Joe Pulliam has been promoted to executive vice president of Watermark, overseeing all marketing, research and design, and product development of boats, as well as overseeing the Harmony and Sospenders brands. In addition, Pulliam will manage the Easley, N.C., Watermark offices. SNEWS® View: Watermark is recovering very, very nicely from its Duncan Robins miscue, first with the naming of Jim Clark as CEO, and now with the recognition that Pulliam also deserves a leadership mantle. Pulliam, who served as Perception’s marketing manager from 1982 to 1987 and then left to co-found Dagger, where he served as the company’s president until its subsequent acquisition by Watermark, is highly respected by both retailers and his co-workers. Congratulations Joe — a well-deserved and long overdue recognition.
