Eddie Bauer names chief restructuring officer
Eddie Bauer Holdings said it has hired Brent Kugman as its chief restructuring officer to manage the remaining bankruptcy cases held by the company.
Kugman is president of Kugman Partners Inc., a restructuring firm that coordinates all of the activities needed to resolve pending bankruptcy cases.
Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc. is a shell holding company that remains after private equity firm Golden Gate Capital purchased its assets and operations for $286 million earlier this month. The company filed for bankruptcy protection in June. The assets and operations owned by Golden Gate are now called Eddie Bauer LLC.
