Who’s on the move: Nemo partners with Uber Group run by Jeff Hohn, and Vibram promotes Michael Martin

- NEMO Equipment, Inc. has partnered with Stockflo and Über Group to expand its representation in Western Canada and the Southeastern U.S. For over 20 years, Jeff Hohn of Stockflo has been involved in the mountain sports industry as an athlete, guide, filmmaker and sales rep. He has a passion and enthusiasm for outdoor gear and the people who use it, which is evident in the way he runs his business. In addition to NEMO, Jeff also represents Julbo, Trezeta, ENO and Millet. Über Group, Based in Atlanta, Ga., will focus their efforts on strengthening NEMO’s presence and relationship with specialty outdoor retailers in the southeast, as well as growing NEMO’s military and government channels nationwide. In addition to NEMO, Über Group represents Arc’Teryx, Footbalance, JetBoil, Mountain Khakis, Petzl, Salomon, Suunto and Vivobarefoot.
- Vibram, in an effort to address the spectacular growth of the minimalist footwear industry, recently announced its promotion of Michael Martin to general manager of Vibram FiveFingers and Finished Goods – North America. Martin previously served as vice president. In addition, Vibram has promoted Senior Retail Marketing Associate Michael O’Brien to marketing man.
