We’re proud to introduce Andrew Weaver, our new associate editor here at Outside Business Journal.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Andrew transitions to OBJ from the editorial department of a city magazine in Denver, where he worked for three years covering travel, culture, outdoor sports, and other lifestyle topics related to working and playing in Colorado. He is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont with a BA in English and environmental studies—a degree he managed to earn, he says, despite spending most of his time hiking, skiing, and guiding trips in the Green Mountains. Before coming to Colorado, he worked as a writing teacher in Brooklyn, New York, freelancing for various publications and dreaming of moving west.
When he’s not on the job, you can find Andrew backpacking, skiing, climbing, running, and playing the banjo.
Andrew will be covering all the news that’s fit to print and managing our social channels. He will jump into the fire at Outdoor Retailer Snow Show next week, so swing by our booth [#42092-UL] and try to catch him to say hello.
