What’s UP PR founder, Beth Cochran, will be a featured presenter during the Sept. 8 Outdoor University webinar, “The Art of Feng Shui in Specialty Retail.” This classroom will offer simple DIY techniques to apply to a retail store entrance, physical location, store layout, merchandise, back offices and even storage areas that can positively influence a business’ bottom line. Cochran will be joined by Feng Shui expert, Susan Hayward. All Outdoor University webinars classrooms are scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. MST.
Cochran and Hayward will outline what Feng Shui is, how it works and who uses it; and will include case studies from large and small companies alike. Attendees will discover how this ancient art can reinvigorate business with tools used by Fortune 500 companies, Donald Trump and many successful companies worldwide. The wisdom of Feng Shui can be used as a tool to direct the “energy” in life for improved health, wealth and success; and most importantly in today’s economy — stronger sales.
The 60-minute session will review the main elements of the “Bagua,” the primary map used in Feng Shui, to identify areas of a retail floor plan most ideal for change or improvement. The talk will cover the “Nine Elements of Focus” to boost traffic and sales, encouraging better choices in retail space and the surrounding environment. Attendees will receive a list of Feng Shui tips and resources to integrate immediately.
“When we pay attention to details, minor as they may appear, the beauty of order unfolds… and life gets easier and more fruitful,” said Cochran. “The goal for the webinar is to teach this wise set of principles that has guided leaders for centuries to our industry’s businesses today. If it worked for them, why not us, our businesses and our industry?”
Hayward added, “’The Nine Elements of Focus’ is a bird’s eye view of how the art of Feng Shui impacts every aspect of the retail business, from merchandising to customer satisfaction. We will walk through your store to see how these techniques can ramp up your current business, identify areas where you are losing or missing energy, and cultivate engaged customers who keep coming back for more!”
Feng Shui is a sales tool used by industry professionals around the world. The techniques are proven over thousands of years, and the wisdom is available to you in easy-to-implement steps that yield effective and measurable results. Simply stated, Feng Shui works.
