VF reports CEO’s ’07 compensation
VF Corp. (NYSE: VFC) reported in filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Chairman and CEO Mackey J. McDonald received compensation valued at about $9.6 million in 2007 — about 2 percent more than in 2006.
McDonald, 61, received $1.18 million in salary, more than $2 million in non-equity incentive compensation and $82,594 in other compensation. That total included a $23,400 car allowance, $26,444 for personal use of corporate aircraft and $10,900 for financial planning services, according to the filing.
McDonald also became vested in 79,151 shares in stock valued by the company at more than $6.1 million.
Outdoor Channel Holdings to buy back shares
Outdoor Channel Holdings (Nasdaq: OUTD) said it would buy back up to $10 million in shares. The plan is scheduled to run April 15 through Nov. 30.
The company had 27.1 million shares outstanding as of March 11. At their current price, the buyback would include about 1.6 million shares, or 6 percent of outstanding shares.
