(Greensboro, North Carolina) – The innovative new rotomolded Versa Board adds another dimension to Native Watercraft’s paddleboard line. This paddleboard sails over the boundary lines that restrict other boards to just rivers, flatwater or the ocean with its original features like the spring loaded, retractable skeg.

Unlike typical paddleboard skegs which are fixed, the Versa Board’s retractable skeg makes it easy to transition from open to shallow water, surf to open ocean or swift to calm water. The combination of stability, good tracking and easy maneuverability make Versa Board a great paddleboard even for beginners and also makes it a great fishing craft. The deck is broad and wide to provide plenty of room for coolers or other fishing gear without restricting standing space; plus, there are molded flats for mounting rod holder or accessories to make it even more angler friendly.

The Versa Board has a molded seat depression so it is comfortable and easy to paddle while standing or sitting but Native Watercraft is also offering an additional First Class Seating option that can be purchased and easily added or removed. The patent-pending First Class Seat system made of solar screen seat material suspended over an anodized pewter frame adds comfort while the patent-pending swivel platform it is attached to gives unprecedented mobility when seated. The swivel platform is secured through the scupper and the seat easily tilts back to clear the deck when standing.

Fishing celebrity Jimbo Meador said “The Versa Board will literally open up a whole new world to the angling community. It has a bottom design that adds incredible stability for standing and sight fishing plus a deck layout that adds stability and fish ability both from a standing position and sitting position. Imagine being able to easily pivot 360 degrees while sitting. The retractable skeg and low profile allows you shallow water access and the ability to easily stack multiple boards on a mother ship for transportation to the fishing grounds. The Versa Board has so many features that will add to it’s versatility in the fishing world that I need to write a full Waterlog on Nativewatercraft.com to do it justice.”
