This one is going to stir up some debate. Along with your tent, your sleeping bag is arguably the most important piece of gear you bring camping. In addition to simply keeping you alive through cold nights, a good sleeping bag sets the tone for the rest of your outdoor adventures by allowing you to get good, comfortable sleep—critical if you’re spending your days bagging peaks and notching miles on the trail.
