SGMA will launch a so-called “Young Presidents Council” at The Super Show in Las Vegas in January. The goal, the group says, is to provide a networking forum for those 50 years of age or younger who are presidents, CEOs, COBs and CFOs of sports businesses. “The YPC initiative will bring a new generation of leaders together to discuss issues facing their businesses, challenges facing the industry at-large over the next five years and needed services and programs SGMA International can provide to drive industry knowledge and performance,” said Maria Stefan, SGMA International vice president of Global Business Development. The first meeting will be Sunday, Jan. 19 in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo, prior to The Super Show. For more information, contact Stefan (561-840-1150, or mssgma@aol.com) or Sharon Lincoln (561-840-1137 or slsgma@aol.com).
