The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association will launch a new eCommerce site this fall. The USSA is partnering with TeamFanShop to develop an online retail shop for sales of licensed product for the Olympic sports organization’s U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and new U.S. Freeskiing brands.
The site will include products from the USSA’s more than 30 brand licensees, including Spyder, The North Face, Neve, High Sierra and SmartWool, as well as U.S. Team logoed sportswear. USSA Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer said, “eCommerce is a vital part of our overall consumer merchandising plan to bring our brands closer to our millions of fans across America and the world. This eCommerce platform is a key component in the build out of the USSA Digital Network.”
TeamFanShop’s other eCommerce partners include the National Football League, National Basketball Association, various Olympic sports and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
“The USSA and its licensees have a great opportunity to build scale in this business and to grow fans with iconic brands like the U.S. Ski Team, as well as U.S. Snowboarding and the new U.S. Freeskiing,” said Brian Swallow, TeamFanShop’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
