SNEWS® Live: Reducing carbon emissions and raising awareness for the effects of climate change took center stage during the 2007 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Presented by The North Face and Lexus, a public awareness campaign and fund-raiser was led by the environmental activist organization the Conservation Fund over four days. With an ice-sculpted façade and entrance that led to a tent, the Ice Lounge setting encouraged movie moguls to take a break from their film festivities and learn what they could do to reduce their impact on the environment and zero-out their emissions of carbon dioxide, one of the leading causes of global warming.
